Girls' Night :-) / Una noche de damas :-)

Mis hermanas y mi mama se juntaron conmigo para una noche de Mary Kay. Una representante vino con sus productos y nosotras disfrutamos de unas horas de mimarnos. Probamos varios productos para el cuidado de la piel y un poquito de maquillaje. La foto salió algo borrosa, pero nosotras si nos sentíamos muy mimadas y bonitas.

My sisters and my mom got together with me for a girls' night. A Mary Kay representative came with her products, and we enjoyed a couple hours of pampering. We tried several skin care products and a little bit of makeup. The picture turned out rather blurry, but we all felt so pampered and pretty.

And by the way, it's July!!! There are just 18 days until J's and my wedding!!! Yay!!!

Ademas, ya es julio!!! Quedan solo 18 días hasta la boda de J y de mi!!!

30 Years/Anos

El 19 de junio mis papas cumplieron 30 anos de matrimonio. Gloria a Dios!!! El sábado 23 tuvimos una fiesta para ellos en el patio de atrás.

On June 19 my parents celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary. Praise the Lord!!! On June 23 we had a surprise party for them in the backyard.

Ha sido tan bueno tener a mi papa en casa de nuevo. Según el CT scan mas reciente, tiene mas inflamación dentro del cerebro y posiblemente tumor también. Sin embargo, el medico le receto un esteroide anti-inflamatorio y si se esta recogiendo fuerzas. Hemos estado orando que mi papa tuviera fuerza para viajar a la boda de mi hermano y C esta semana y para asistir a la boda de J y de mi. Me parece que Dios esta contestando esa oración. Gracias, Senor.

It has been so good to have my dad at home again. According to the most recent CT scan, my dad has more swelling in the brain and possibly tumor growth also. However, the doctor prescribed an anti-inflammatory steroid, and my dad is regaining strength. We have been praying that my dad would have strength to travel for T and C's wedding this week and to attend J's and my wedding. It seems that God is answering that prayer. Thank you, Lord!
