It's been over two months since my last update, so I thought it was time to let y'all know what's going on.
First off, I mentioned back in Nov/Dec that I was planning on returning to the States. I now have a plane ticket for April 27 and have officially announced my resignation at work effective April 9. I am so looking forward to being closer to my family and being able to invest in their lives and they in mine. I know, however, that I will miss PR and the wonderful people I've met. One of my co-workers burst into tears when she heard that I was leaving. It seems, however, that this is really the right time to go, and I'm looking forward to seeing what the Lord has in store.
For those of you who live near the Bible college I attended, I plan to be in town, Lord willing, May 3-8 for my brother's graduation. Looking forward to seeing you!
Other news...
My friends A and N had a baby girl before Christmas (initials -- A M). I enjoyed watching baby A last Saturday.
The children's church is studying wisdom and Proverbs this spring. This week I teach a verse. I would appreciate your prayers.
A church in Canada is donating pews to the church here. We are all very excited and hope that the pews arrive and can be set up before April. (A young couple is getting married the beginning of April, and they would love to have the pews ready for the wedding.)
